For this assignment everybody sketched a apartment on graph paper that had to be form 600-800 square ft. Each room had to have a bedroom with closet, bathroom, living room, kitchen, laundry, and closet/room. After this we were put into groups of 4 and label 2 graph projects, one being neat and the other being creative. After that we used both models to create a main model and after that we used reflections and rotations to create 6 rooms in a apartment 3 on each side. We than had to create one large room double the size of a normally room by using dilations. One 21st century skill we used was financial, economic, and business literacy since for this project we also had to price the rent for these rooms for certain locations and I researched other typical rents for those locations. We also used communication skills since some peoples designs just didn't make the cut. We also had to include a angled wall. We would also have to find area of each room. If I redid this project I probably tried to take more time since some drawings with Sharpe seemed kind of rushed. One mistake I made on my personal map was I tried to cram to much rooms and things into the house, so we sued other peoples drawings.
