The main purpose for creating the community engagement tent was a space where people could stay focused on community and creating a space for kids to learn in the future. This project was spread out with mini project in between. The tent was created with recycled crates used at flower or a living wall we used to block win. And the ground the desks stood on was made form crates too. We worked with other people using tools and painting wood after applying flax seed oil. The main 21st century skill I used was Civic Literacy and Engagement since we found certain ways to create a recycled space that would work well for communicating. This project helped the school's community have something special and something to be proud of. From this assignment I am most proud of how well things turned out with such a huge goal too. Most school project are not exactly always followed threw but, this one really came out well. I was also very proud of how well everyone worked on this project and doing more physical learning. The most difficult thing in this task was most likely working o other work while seeing the tent being created since honestly everyone really wanted to work on this tent, really wanting to see the final product. Next time in this project i would have created a better banner since it was a little hard to paint on a cloth for the flag or moral. I would have instead have picked more artistic people or perhaps have more thought before we all started painting. In the past I also created a few thing out of recycled wood like a few little art things so this also helped use flax seed oil or painting. For future learning I now have learned it's important to create something for the community since it is also helping you on the inside feel proud and joyful about how other kids can use this tent also in the future.
