A semester of tech began for tenth graders second semester. We have been doing python for a couple months now. We access python threw stem academy. Basically, python is a high-level programming language and we are learning the basics of it and getting into some of the harder coding. Our teacher Ms. Jeanie has helped us as we go one. She mainly just helps us stay focused and also helps us out when we are stuck on a problem. Every week we are assigned a unit or two and for each unit, you learn something new from examples and videos than you take a quiz and by the end you have to code a program to work a certain way. During this coding semester I feel that the twenty first century skill we focused on the most are your self directional skills. Sometimes in this class doing the work correctly is on you. You can mess around during a period ,but at the end of the day you must have it done and that's really what self direction is. During this assignment I mostly proud of how far I have came as a coder. In the beginning I really had no clue and now I still get confused but, I know a lot more. During this task, I think I had the most trouble with completing them since while coding there are so many things that will riun a system, there can be wrong spaces, wrong functions, and wrong letters. If I redid most of my coding I would have really thought out the process and done understood more of my work from the beginning since if you miss the intro and basics you will never catch up.
